Dr. Serrano is a Queensland-trained female GP.
Following completion of her medical degree from the University of Queensland, Dr. Serrano has worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital (Brisbane), and The Prince Charles Hospital (Chermside). She developed particular interests in various fields of medicine and went on to complete a Fellowship in the Royal Australian College of General Practice. Her special interests include skin cancer surgery, and men’s urological health.
Please be advised that starting July 1st, 2022 Dr Serrano will be private billing consultations.
Fees will vary according to the length and complexity of the consultation. Concession card holders will incur discounted fees, as below.

The following services will continue to be bulk bill appointments:
– Immunisations under the National Immunisation Program
– Influenza vaccines
– COVID-19 vaccines
– Personal Health Record (Red Book) recommended childhood health checks (7 days, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 4 years)
Routinely scheduled appointments for GP management plans (721, 723), GP management plan reviews (732), and yearly health assessments (701, 703, 705, 707) for eligible patients will continue to be bulk billed. However, unscheduled appointments (e.g. for new or acute problems) between scheduled reviews will be billed as per the general pricing guide.
Telephone consultations will continue as per the current billing policy, during specified times.
Procedures, including skin excisions, iron infusions and venesection will typically incur a gap payment for the consultation and a treatment room fee. These will be discussed with you at time of booking.
